Role
Who you are
- 1 – 2 years + of experience selling into SME B2B space
- Proven sales track record with a history of meeting Key Performance Indicators and exceeding sales quotas
- Experience in selling to multiple industries and stakeholders
- History of successful SaaS technology sales is preferable
- History of successful insurance sales is a bonus, but not mandatory
- Ability to successfully collaborate and work within a team
- The right character and can-do attitude
- Self-starter and inquisitive nature to want to learn and progress
What the job involves
- A Direct B2B sales role, working with SME clients to promote Yulife insurance products & technology by inspiring businesses and their employees to live their best lives
- As an Account Executive on our Direct Sales Team, you will be a primary contributor to our fast growing, SME Sales team
- You will be a mixture of a hunter; who lives for finding, developing and expanding opportunities for new business, whilst also working on inbound SME opportunities that come through our marketing activities
- You will have to demonstrate experience and passion for helping organisations drive value to their employees through our holistic wellbeing solution
- Ability to identify and cultivate SME prospects through targeted account planning and outbound communication strategies (phone, email, events and social media)
- The ability to respond quickly to inbound enquiries to maximise on the opportunity
- Identifying the customer's needs and requirements and delivering the best solution for your customer’s challenges - value-led sale
- Utilise MEDDPICC sales methodology throughout the sales process
- Work with our marketing team to build SME targeted campaigns that open new opportunities for you to grow your sales pipeline
- Ability to deliver a holistic wellbeing business case
- Someone who is keen to understand and develop their insurance and wellbeing knowledge (paid study time will be provided)
- Accountability for monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets

YuLife wants to change the life insurance landscape, by gamifying health and wellbeing. Working with businesses and their employees, YuLife rewards people for their everyday healthy behaviours, encouraging users to complete activities like walking or meditation then rewarding them with air miles, vouchers, and gift cards from partners.
With over 85% of SMEs having no life insurance for their employees in place, YuLife also wants to streamline the process of purchasing insurance. Through the company, employers can offer membership as a perk. Users can then progress through levels, compete with colleagues and earn yucoin for healthy choices. The currency can be exchanged for rewards such as gym memberships and gift cards.
YuLife has experienced significant success in the UK, and is now seeking to use this momentum to propel itself into global operations, staring with the US market. It continues to launch new features, such as health insurance options, gamified training courses for brokers, and an AI-powered metric that assesses business health and wellbeing.
