What the job involves

As the Director of Growth - you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and expansion of our self-service SaaS product
You will be responsible for developing and executing PLG strategies to enhance customer onboarding, activation, and retention, ultimately driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
This is a high-impact role that requires a data-driven, customer-centric, and innovative mindset
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to define and prioritize product features and enhancements that drive customer growth
Lead the product roadmap for the Growth team, aligning it with the company's growth objectives and customer needs
Develop and optimize the onboarding process to ensure new customers have a seamless and positive experience with our product
Implement strategies to drive user activation and engagement, reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value
Analyze user behavior and usage data to identify barriers to activation and propose data-driven solutions
Develop and execute retention strategies, including targeted communication and feature adoption campaigns
Collaborate with customer success to address customer concerns and improve overall satisfaction
Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives and make data-driven decisions
Implement A/B testing and experimentation to optimize product features and conversion rates
Report regularly to senior management on growth metrics and progress toward goals
Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers and growth specialists
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the growth team

Our take

Digital fingerprinting is an essential process in web browsers that tracks the digital address of a device to monitor web activity. This technique facilitates the identification of fraud and spam, as well as warning signs of account takeovers. However, the success of this requires users to accept cookies, a requirement that is easy to avoid.

Fingerprint provides a digital fingerprinting tool that generates a unique identifier of browser activity without requiring the user to accept cookies. The service uses the same WebGL and canvas fingerprinting utilized by existing competitors, but instead of focusing on devices, it identifies web activity. Suspicious activity will result in the identified user being logged in a database, allowing the service to be improved for others.

With this innovative approach, Fingerprint has been able to build up an impressive client roster of over 6,000 companies, including 16% of the top 500 websites by traffic. As well as displaying sustained growth through funding rounds, the company has also continued to improve upon its offering.
