Who you are
- Familiarity with Typescript
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Enthusiasm for learning
- Good communication skills and technical level of English (B2 or above)
- Familiarity with Cloud and the various AWS services (DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFront, S3) is nice to have
- Familiarity with NestJS framework is nice to have
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Developer Intern to join the team to enable us to deliver more great features to our partners and to other teams in Epic
- As part of the KWS (Kids Web Service) Developer Experience team, you will be given a feature to own as part of our development cycle and be integrated in the day-to-day of the team
- You will work with your engineering lead and team to refine the full-stack solution and build something memorable for our platform
- Be part of the Developer Experience team, completing tickets, giving sprint demos, etc
- Work across our stack to deliver a feature, familiarity with backend and frontend development are essential
- Own the changes you make from inception through development and into production
- Learn about security, scalability, reliability and maintainability in the code you write
- Collaborate with the team to achieve the best solution
- Work with product managers, designers and others across the KWS team to get input into your work
- This internship has a flexible start date in 2026
