Who you are

We are looking for a passionate and self motivating software engineer who cares deeply about code quality, performance, and building high-scale systems
8+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java
Proficiency in at least one cloud-native or messaging technology such as Kubernetes, Istio, containerization, Kafka, etc
Proficiency with relational and non-relational datastores
Proficiency in CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems
Expertise in any of the above technical requirements is a huge plus!

What the job involves

We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Investment Data Platform team
In this role, you will own the opportunity to architect and implement the next-generation compute platform, tackling complex scalability challenges to meet the demand of Addepar’s exponential growth and global expansion

Our take

Investment advisers require speed, clarity and flexibility when managing client portfolios. Addepar is a wealth management software platform created with these requirements in mind. The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyse and visualise the data they need.

Addepar currently tracks around $6 trillion of assets serving over 800 clients, including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.

The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022. It appointed new leadership members from companies like Oracle and Amazon Web Services. A Series G investment in 2025 will further accelerate its momentum as it continues to innovate its suite of solutions.
