Role
Who you are
- Financial and Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of how AP/AR impacts financial statements, tech savy approach and experience with finance software like Ramp, Stripe, and NetSuite
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized. You’ll ensure accuracy in all tasks, from invoicing to transaction tracking
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to solving billing and payment issues, able to resolve discrepancies with customers and vendors efficiently and professionally
- Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams. You’ll provide clear, accurate information promptly
- Curiosity & Hungry to Learn: Intellectually curious, adaptable, and coachable, with a desire to learn and try new approaches in a dynamic environment

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join our Finance team
- This is a key role that ensures the financial health of AirDNA by managing timely vendor payments, invoicing customers, and tracking all incoming and outgoing payments
- You'll be instrumental in establishing best practices for AP/AR, helping our Finance team scale and mature
- Process and manage vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Generate and send customer invoices, ensuring timely payments
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure closed deals are correctly invoiced and payments are collected
- Resolve billing discrepancies with customers and vendors and manage the AP/AR email inboxes
- Support Finance by implementing and maintaining the finance tech stack for transaction processing and accounting
- Work with the Finance team to optimize and standardize processes
- Take on additional related projects to support team goals as needed
