- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Master's degree and previous experience at a top tier crypto company is a plus
- Fast, iterative design style: Comfortable generating multiple options quickly and refining based on feedback
- Strong mobile UX skills: Comfortable designing native-feeling flows, patterns, and interactions
- Strength in interaction design, information architecture, and system-level thinking
- Ability to deliver polished visuals and thoughtful interactions using Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience working in B2C or B2B2C products (fintech, consumer apps, crypto/financial products are a plus)
- Ability to balance detail-oriented execution with rapid experimentation
- Strong collaborator: Comfortable working closely with engineering, product, business, and marketing partners
- Self-directed, motivated, and comfortable operating with some ambiguity in a startup environment

What the job involves
- Design user experiences across CoinTracker’s consumer and enterprise product lines that embody our mission to enable everyone to use crypto with peace of mind
- As a Senior Product Designer, you will execute high-quality design work end-to-end with strong ownership of your product areas and rapid iteration
- Design end-to-end flows across mobile and web for B2C and B2B2C surfaces
- Iterate quickly—exploring multiple UX directions rapidly, creating prototypes, and shipping polished solutions
- Produce interaction patterns, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes that clearly communicate your thinking
- Partner closely with PMs, engineers, and other designers to translate product requirements into simple, intuitive experiences
- Contribute to our design system and brand updates; ensure consistency across surfaces
- Use research findings and usability insights to refine designs; embrace a tight feedback loop
- Bring design explorations into internal reviews through quick demos and prototypes
- Stay current with crypto, fintech, and mobile UX trends

Our take
Managing taxes for crypto investments can be a difficult task, and with tax regulations and trading practices developing fast in this market, a tool to help manage them is vital. CoinTracker’s crypto management software provides just this; tracking and synching up to 200 transactions across different wallets to a single dashboard, and automatically populating tax forms.
Though there are rivals in the space (such as Coinpanda and Koinly), CoinTracker stands out for the sheer volume of transactions it can track, as well as its prioritisation of ease-of-use. Through this approach, it makes the whole process far more compliant and hassle-free for crypto traders, especially serving those who are less educated regarding the space.
By balancing tax management tools with its relatively generous free plan, CoinTracker has straddled itself neatly across low-volume retail investors and those dipping their toes in a little deeper. Although it had to make a round of layoffs in 2023, the company has nonetheless progressed. It released CoinTracker Connect, which gives access to live professionals for real-time crypto tax advice, and has also undertaken a multichain expansion.
