Role
Who you are
- An experienced Full-stack Developer, ideally with strong front-end development experience using React, and some Java experience
- A commitment to collaborative problem solving, pragmatic design, and building quality products is essential
- 4+ years’ experience as React developer (required)
- Experience working as a java developer is required
- Expertise in object-oriented programming
- Expertise in web services, REST architecture
- Experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable, performant, and reliable web applications and distributed systems
- Experience working with middleware technologies
- Familiarity with continuous delivery & microservices
- Experience in fintech or the payment industry will be appreciated
- Experience in QA testing and automation is a plus
- Experience with school’s ERP (Workday, PeopleSoft, etc) is a big plus
What the job involves
- Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the user interface for our middleware platform that integrates with Flywire products and institution student information systems
- You will be joining a team in charge of designing new integration functionality and improving the current integration capabilities to improve implementation speed, cost, and scalability of our product
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the design
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Work collaboratively with teams across the globe
- Help your fellow developers to continue growing their skills
