Senior Software Engineer, SmartAsset

• 7+ years engineering experience: Expertise in creating, maintaining, and scaling highly available and performant web platforms
• Languages: Proven track record in building, shipping, scaling, and operating Java (or similar) applications, with deep expertise in ReactJS for modular, modern web applications
• Databases: Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with relational databases
• Source Control: Solid knowledge of Git or similar source control tools
• Cloud Solutions: Experience designing and implementing complex cloud solutions (preferably AWS), with the ability to plan and execute effectively
• Leadership & Strategy: Able to drive project and product success in Agile environments with pivotal decisions, strategic thinking, and clear communication

• You’ll be working on the Core Services team
• The Core Services team is dedicated to supporting the systems that SmartAsset depends on to support Advisors, validate and deploy leads, and provide custom integrations for our enterprise clients
• As part of the Core Services team, you’ll work closely with teams both upstream and downstream to protect the integrity of Advisor and investor data for all its uses
