Role
Who you are
- At least 2 - 3 years experience as a Product Manager
- Strong background in product discovery, rapid experimentation and testing
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to perform basic data analysis
- Experience with user research and the ability to use research to make informed decisions (usertesting.com)
- Experience working closely with crossfunctional teams specifically in-house engineering teams
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align product decisions with business objectives
- Previous experience in a start-up, in health tech or/ and with AI is desired but not essential
What the job involves
- Leading the cross-functional growth and engagement squad, working closely with design, engineering, Data, and CRO experts, you will drive the development and enhancement of our products and most importantly the value to our users
- Bringing our suite of R&D AI tools to the market in a considered and successful
- Working with the Head of Product, Head of Marketing, and Head of Clinical to help define and execute our product strategy and roadmap, defining what success looks like and creating experiments and deliverables that allow us to rapidly learn and improve
- Growing key product metrics and engagement by driving user value
Application process

- A showcase of a product case study based on an assignment, with the Head of Product and a member of the Product team or cross-functional team
- A final interview with one of the Co-founders
Our take
Vet-AI develops tech designed to improve animal wellbeing. Its flagship offering is an app and web platform called Joii Pet Care, which allows pet owners to make 24/7 vet calls, check pet symptoms and behaviour, and purchase products.
The company was created by a pair of long-time veterinarians and a health tech entrepreneur who identified the need for more tech-driven, digital solutions in the industry, which still relies heavily on in-person consultations – even for simple and easily-treated illness and conditions.
Given that around 60% of adults in the UK own a pet, and that veterinary costs are soaring year on year, there’s plenty of scope for success as owners seek more convenient, less costly ways to keep their pets in good health.
Beyond maintaining and increasing the popularity of Joii Pet Care, Vet-AI is aiming to roll out further products, starting with AI tech specifically designed for vet offices.
