What the job involves
- We’re looking for a crypto-native self-starter to support growth initiatives across content, marketing, and SEO
- In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to product reviews, social content, and evergreen pages, helping shape how we show up across the web and on X
- You’ll work closely with a former Editor-in-Chief, getting feedback to sharpen your writing and see your work drive real impact
- Writing product reviews and contributing to comparison pages
- Helping shape our presence on X and other social platforms
- Supporting SEO and evergreen content projects, including Learn articles and landing pages
- Bringing ideas to the table and helping execute experiments across growth, content, and marketing
- What you'll get:

- Ideally looking for full time hours. Length of internship open to discussion but can range from 3-6 months. Some previous interns have gone on to be hired full-time but this is not guaranteed

Cryptocurriences and NFTs have become increasingly mainstream, and despite market turbulence are a major part of many investors' portfolios. The Block aims to be a reliable and trusted voice, offering insight to those in the world of digital assets.
The Block stands out for the pedigree of journalists it employs - like former Business Insider journalist Frank Chaparro who hosts The Block’s weekly podcast, ‘The Scoop’, or Editor-in-Chief Sarah Kopit, a former editor at Bloomberg - and has developed a reputation for focused and in-depth analysis and news.
In 2022, it was revealed that The Block had received significant funding from the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, badly undermining the company's independence and damaging its reputation. This led to The Block's CEO stepping down and being replaced and an acquisition by Foresight Ventures. Since this shake-up, The Block has experienced a 40% growth in pageviews and a 33% rise in unique users, indicating that faith has been restored in the publication.
