• Scala experience
• Solid understanding of functional programming

• Experience in developing REST API’s and knowledge of scalable architectures
• Fluent English for work in international teams

Desirable

• The Context team is an integral part of the Product Information Management (PIM) group, responsible for managing our product catalog
• This team focuses on developing advanced features to tailor the catalog to specific needs, such as segmenting the catalog for different geographical regions or store types, and varying product data based on the sales context
• Design, implement and test mission-critical API’s in a PaaS eCommerce Scala backend
• Develop a scalable and multi-tenant architecture
• Work closely with Product Management for understanding the business needs and finding appropriate technical solutions
• Contribute to the definition of the team roadmap
• Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security) are met
• Collaborate with engineers from different teams to ensure technical excellence of the whole platform
• Take part in on-call rotation (with the worldwide distributed team) for production systems
