Senior HR Operations Manager, Mattermost

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, HR Operations to lead and scale our HR operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• 8-10 years of progressive HR operations experience, with a proven track record of scaling HR functions in companies with 500–1,000 employees
• Advanced proficiency with HRIS systems, HR technology platforms, and Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• This critical leadership role will shape the foundation of our HR systems, processes, and compliance, supporting our mission of accelerating innovation in defense, government, and critical infrastructure enterprises
• Oversee HR systems, metrics, compensation programs, US benefits administration, and compliance
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state HR regulations and best practices while supporting Corporate and Culture initiatives
• Use data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous process improvement
• Design and implement scalable HR programs to support organizational growth and evolving business needs
• Build and maintain HR Dashboards to assess HR performance with metrics to improve organizational effectiveness and drive long-term HR initiatives
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and streamline processes, leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burdens
• Drive policy and process adoption through change management initiatives across the organization related to HR operations
• Provide guidance and change management support to the HR team as it relates to system optimization and process efficiencies
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and high accountable remote-first culture that aligns with Mattermost’s mission to advance mission-critical work in Defense, Intelligence, Security and Critical Infrastructure organizations
• Promote global workforce growth and development, supporting a talented team across diverse geographies
