Who you are
- You are studying HR at a Bachelor's level, office management/logistics, executive assistance, project management, or are simply eager to learn
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, a contagious energy, and a good sense of humor
- You enjoy multitasking and know how to prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and thrive in handling last-minute challenges
- You are a strong communicator, creative, resourceful, organized, and eager to learn and make people happy
- You speak English fluently, both written and spoken, to communicate with our international teams [mandatory]

What the job involves
- In close collaboration with the HR Operations Manager and the HR Manager, you will work with one goal in mind: the daily well-being and happiness of Cafeyners!
- You will join the Paris office, eager to learn from the People team and contribute to making the workplace an enjoyable and dynamic environment
- You will be responsible for two main areas related to the office:
- Office life
- Daily management of office life and orders (supplies, IT equipment, fruits, coffee, snacks, breakfasts, etc.)
- Mail management and ensuring the office layout is well-maintained
- Daily management of Cafeyner requests via the Atlassian tool (Jira)
- Coordination and management of relationships with various office service providers
- You will manage the devices assigned to new employees, coordinate repairs, and serve as the primary contact with our suppliers, ensuring that ergonomic solutions are provided to enhance employee comfort and productivity
- Animation and well-being
- Support during Cafeyn Group key events: All-hands, team-building, parties, special events, satisfaction surveys, etc
- Responsible for onboarding new employees: distributing welcome kits and badges, tracking the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new talents
- Being the point of contact for gifts to employees (births, weddings, work anniversaries, etc.)
- Supporting various cross-functional People team projects: internal newsletters, CSR projects, etc
- Personnel Administration: Support the HR team with drafting employment contracts, certificates, and handling occupational health (appointment scheduling and follow-ups), regularly updating information in the HRIS (Lucca)
- Payroll: Assist in preparing payroll (variable elements) and checking it with Julien, our HR Operations Manager, ensuring timely processing
- Participate in CSE projects, particularly those focusing on employee well-being
- Interact with various Cafeyn team members
- Our internal Tools
- Slack for internal communication
- Confluence for shared information and documents
- Google meets for virtual meetings (all meetings are recorded and archived)

Our take
The decline of print media, which is only predicted to continue, has left newspapers and magazines in real trouble. Cafeyn offers these businesses a way out, through its app that enables users to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines from one place.
Users pay a monthly subscription fee, and in return receive access to a huge range of content. At the same time, newspapers and magazines access a much broader market than before, which could rescue them from a slump in revenue.
E-reading platforms have exploded in recent years, and Cafeyn faces some fierce competition. That said, the company's strategy is to strengthen partnerships with publishers while expanding its presence internationally, working hard to replicate the success it has already had in existing markets.
