Role
Who you are
- The role demands strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, as well as effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A roles
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Comfortable with leveraging Finance IT systems and applications within business processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competent and with high standards when it comes to the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Desirable: understanding of insurance business receivable and payable amounts and associated cash flows (underwriter, brokerage and service providers)

What the job involves
- Our FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organisation's financial planning and decision-making processes
- The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analysing financial data, developing budgets and forecasts plans, and providing insights to senior management
- Besides, will support the implementation of tech and AI into finance processes to gain efficiency
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement
- Support with the accounting monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes
- Own the finance tools. Implement tech and AI into finance processes to gain efficiencies and accuracy
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives
- Create, review, analyse and report budgets, plans, and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor and improve our cost base, identifying opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or operational efficiency
- Assist in the preparation of high quality presentations for the executive team and board of directors
