Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience
- Strong background in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Understanding of payment processing systems and financial technology
- Experience with high-throughput transaction processing
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations
- Experience with API design and integration patterns
- Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps culture
What the job involves
- Our SW Engineering team is on the lookout for a .NET Staff Engineer to be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise within our Payments Processing domain
- This role will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the domain while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that align with our enterprise architecture standards
- Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the technical vision and strategy within the domain, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
- Collaborate with Domain Lead and Domain Solution Lead to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Work closely with Architecture team to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards
- Guide and influence technical decisions across multiple teams within the domain
- Drive technical excellence and innovation within the domain
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Identify and address technical debt
