Financial Controller, NCG

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Solid experience with project based revenue recognition and deferred revenue
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Commercial mindset - you're a business partner, not just a number cruncher
• Comfortable presenting to leadership and working across departments
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy

Desirable

• Day to day transactional finance - managing bookkeepers, PO/spend approvals, finance inbox
• All reporting - monthly MIs, Board packs, project reporting, compliance, year end returns
• FP&A - all forecasting and modelling across short, medium and long term horizons
• Investor reporting - preparing the business for exit
• Revenue & cost recognition - complex schedules due to project based accounting, deferred revenue, and prepayments
• Project finance - working with Sales and Ops to ensure projects are costed correctly and delivered on budget
• Stakeholder relationships - customers, suppliers, developing commercial relationships
• Credit control - cash is king
• Payroll
