Who you are

STEM degree from a top 3 university in your country
2 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning or similar
Excellent programming skills in Python and relevant tools
Deep understanding of fundamentals of probability and statistics

What the job involves

We are looking for mid-level and senior Data Scientists / ML Engineers at Wheely. You will own the entire process of building, from initial ideation and research to implementation of models in production
You will join one of our teams (Passenger/ Supply/ Matching/ Mapping) - working on difficult problems such as predicting ETAs, dispatching immediate and future requests as well as pricing journeys to maximize demand & supply
Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and product managers to solve ambiguous problems and implement algorithms in production
Building new proofs of concept and improving existing algorithms
Researching and then delivering PoC into products

Founded in 2010, Wheely is now available in London, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, and Dubai, with thousands of chauffeurs driving under the brand.

Since raising funding back in 2019, the company has been working to establish itself as the leader in premium ride-hailing in megacities across the globe. Lengthy lockdowns during the pandemic of course caused problems for Wheely, but it appears to have manoeuvred through these difficulties and come out the other side refocussed on growing its services.
