Who you are
- Languages: C2 in English (core mission) and good knowledge of the US culture
- Experience: First experience in sales, cold calling, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Communication: Clear, empathetic, and persuasive — both written and verbal
- Sales Mindset: Comfortable pitching and closing, always with the artist’s success in mind
- Relationship-Driven: Skilled at building trust over phone/email with a people-first approach
- Team Player: Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Tech-Friendly: CRM and email outreach tools experience is a bonus

What the job involves
- As a Business Developer, you’ll play a key role in our artist acquisition strategy. Your goal: connect with talented artists, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right Singulart subscription plan :
- Outreach and Engagement: Proactively reach out to warm leads via email and phone. Craft personalized messages that resonate with each artist
- Closing Sales: Pitch Singulart’s subscription plans with clarity and confidence. Handle objections, answer questions, and help artists select the right plan for their goals
- Market feedback: Share insights on artists’ needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to improve our services and positioning
- Continuous learning : Refine your sales techniques, deepen your product knowledge, and grow your impact over time
- Fast-Paced Sales / High conversion rates : Close multiple deals daily thanks to a short and rewarding sales cycle

Our take
Parisian Singulart aims to be the one-stop shop for people who are ready to invest in some upscale home decor. A large part of its pitch is built on its support for artists, with all the art and furniture listed on its site being the work of independent creators rather than mass-produced.
This means that every piece is unique, allowing the marketplace to stand out from many of its peers. Interestingly, it also boasts that half its artists are women, which is a rarity in the art world. It has partnerships with some more well-known artists, as well as operating a sister site - balthasart - for emerging creators.
Singulart has built a sizeable user base, and it's gallery lists the work of thousands of artists and designers from over 100 countries. It has more recently implemented an AI search feature which allows users to find art by using natural language, and moves like this will cement its strong position in the art sales space.
