Role
Who you are
- Over 3 years of experience in automated software testing, web app testing automation, and API testing
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages related to test automation
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress and Selenium
- Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the testing process to help deliver stable software to our users
- You will work closely with our development team to identify and troubleshoot issues, and you will have the opportunity to enhance the quality of our products through automation
- Manage the testing process for your team and elevate the product's quality
- Automate standard parts of our testing process using tools like Selenium, Playwright and Cypress to ensure efficient and effective functionality testing
- Prepare test deliverables, including test plans, test data, and test scripts, to verify that the actual results match the expected outcomes
- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues and defects in new features and existing functionality
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability
- Analyze user stories or product designs to identify uncovered edge cases and improve planned features before development
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Continuously improve the testing process by exploring new technologies and methodologies
Our take
Nowadays, procurement processes require increasingly complex documentation, and the bidding process can be very repetitive. This wastes the time of teams that must re-enter the same information for every new proposal - which is what Altura hopes to address.
Altura enables teams to scrape data analysis and insights from pre-existing bids and proposals and use this information in the management of future bids. Ultimately, this means that teams can focus on strategy and highlighting value as opposed to the manual tasks of preparing a bid, as well as inform from past failure and success.
Process automation for companies isn’t exactly a new idea, but Altura’s focus on procurement processes gives them an attractive market niche. It’s early days for the company, but it already has European clients across a variety of industries and is using its early-stage funding to fine-tune its product and bring on new hires.
