Senior Data Scientist, Eyeo

• At least 4 years relevant industry experience
• Undergraduate degree in a STEM program
• Strong skills with Python and SQL
• Extensive background in statistical analysis, machine learning and data mining
• Excellent applied statistics skills, such as hypothesis testing, experimental design and sample size determination
• Experience with big data and model optimization
• Ability to explain findings in layman’s terms, both verbally (including written form) and visually

Desirable

• As a Senior Data Scientist working with eyeo, you will be working on a wide range of projects from developing models for real time bidding, to conducting A/B tests, automating existing work, providing stakeholders with analysis and building data products, amongst other tasks
• Optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation
• Create and analyze A/B tests to help engineering and product teams make decisions, and iterate and improve our products
• Design and develop algorithms for our core business including regressions, image processing, forecasting and real-time bidding. i.e bid flooring and traffic shaping algorithms
• Think beyond “just the model” by challenging existing product features, and building data-backed business cases to shape product roadmaps
• Work with engineering teams to enhance data collection strategy and processes
