Role
Who you are
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Have some great Account Executive experience in a Technology company
- Have direct SaaS/Cloud or web conferencing solutions selling experience, as well as outbound sales experience
- Be able to demonstrate excellent presentations skill with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging
- Have business forecasting, pipeline development, and management skills, with a record of closed sales and client satisfaction
- Be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated
- Have excellent Internet research skills with excellent PC literacy [Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint] and Salesforce CRM experience
- Have excellent verbal skills, speaking English at a high professional level, with consultative professional business acumen

- As a MidMarket Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts in the Midmarket segment
- The Zoom sales team is a dynamic force driving the company's success
- With a focus on delivering cutting edge communication solutions for clients across all sectors, the team passionately engages with clients worldwide
- Through strategic partnerships and a customer-centric approach, they play a pivotal role in
- Expanding Zoom's global presence and ensuring businesses harness the full potential of virtual collaboration
- Meeting or exceed sales and product objectives, utilizing solution-selling techniques to guide sales process to close
- Qualifying leads and identifying prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
- Creating client demos/ presentations, quotes/ proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Utilizing Salesforce CRM to provide timely sales activity tracking updates
- Developing and leveraging business within new and existing accounts, manage complex sales
- Situations and campaigns
- Working strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending
- Opportunities/challenges, recommending solutions

Our take
Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.
Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.
To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic acquisitions. Alongside many other large tech companies, it has battled through a difficult economic situation, but it nonetheless remains a profitable company and household name. Plus, its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
