Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
- 2+ years in event marketing, program or project management
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) and comfortable working with CRM and reporting tools
- Salesforce, Hubspot or CRM experience is a strong plus
- A great team player, personable and easily able to pivot from customer facing pitches to internal communications
- Creative, resourceful, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Experienced in event planning, marketing, or program coordination
- Scrappy yet polished, comfortable with everything from packing pallets to pitching our product
- Based in Charlestown, MA with at least 2 days per week in office
- Able to travel 30–40% for events (events are seasonal, heavy in the fall and spring)
What the job involves
- We are seeking a passionate, go-getter, mission-aligned Experiential Marketing Specialist to join our team
- This role supports customer-facing events, product placements, brand activations, and university activations—programs that continue to grow every year!
- You’ll work cross-functionally with external vendors and internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product
- The position is based in our Boston (Charlestown) office and reports directly to the Director of Experiential Marketing
- Be the face of Bevi—bring energy, personality, and organization while engaging with prospects, partners, and fans
- Share results that matter: track ROI and KPIs with Sales and RevOps to keep improving every event
- Team up with vendors to create trade show booths and other memorable customer experiences
- Own the booth set-up: manage Bevi machines, packing, shipping, set-up, breakdown, and tracking
- Jump in with hands-on support—install machines and handle simple troubleshooting (we’ll train you!)
- Think like an owner: make every dollar and every moment count to maximize impact
- Keep it all running smoothly with stellar logistics and organization
- Grow the “Bevi Brand Placement” program by finding and managing exciting partnerships nationwide in partnership with sales to drive brand awareness
- Build relationships, seek out opportunities through referrals and outreach, and close 1–2 placements each month with Sales
- Manage details in Salesforce, execute contracts, and track machine usage and brand visibility
- Bring creative ideas that drive leads, accelerate pipeline, and introduce Bevi to new audiences
- Partner with Field and Logistics teams to deliver the right materials—machines, flavors, signage, swag, and more. This also includes timely and accurate data entry in systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Zendesk
- Report back on post-event KPIs and track campaigns in Salesforce
- Work cross-functionally to ensure deliverables are achieved before, during, and after each event including holding detailed pre-event meetings, slack channels, and post-event debriefs
Our take
Americans buy billions of water bottles per year, the manufacture of which uses millions of barrels of crude oil. This alone causes significant damage to the environment, before even considering the carbon impact of delivery or the plastic waste produced. Bevi hopes to change this, with its smart beverage-dispensing machine that only requires a tap water source to function.
Bevi’s dispensers allow users to customize their drinks, check nutrition information and track the environmental impact of their usage. With the ability to carbonate beverages as well as flavor them with natural essences, and even some caffeine and electrolytes if one wishes, Bevi has created a versatile hydration system that caters to the modern consumer on both eco-conscious and personal taste levels.
This simple and effective hydration system has become popular across industries, with over 4000 companies including Volkswagen, Netflix and Google making use of Bevi machines. The company, though having to fight through some self-admittedly "frightening" times, has raised significant funding that will support its rapid growth and expansion into new verticals and products.
