Who you are
- We’re looking for talented problem solvers who lead with passion and who face any task with a positive mindset
- You love algorithms and new technology. You are also a great team worker and a great communicator in French and English
- Experience with Python, along with common libraries such as pandas / scikit-learn
- A knack for writing clean, readable and maintainable code
- Knowledge of GCP is a plus
- Eager to implement automated functional / unit tests and documentation
- Proficient with Git, a Unix shell, an editor (or IDE) and all others day-to-day developer tools

- This is the opportunity to join a major DTC beauty-tech brand and an energetic team that works together to deliver creative solutions that are transforming the way people think about and shop for personalized beauty
- Minor adjustments in our personalization algorithms can significantly impact our sales and supply chain. To ensure optimal decision-making when updating formulas, we must therefore understand potential effects before deploying changes. Our approach involves leveraging simulations and forecasts to predict sales
- As a Machine Learning Engineer Intern in the Algo Team at Prose, you will contribute to enhancing our forecasting capabilities, working on diverse projects to improve our ability to provide valuable insights on future changes
- Your main focus will be on demand modeling by leveraging marketing data and historical sales to forecast demand effectively
- Build a demand forecasting model & all useful metrics to assess its performance
- Integrate and deploy this model & metrics in our processes to automatically update our data warehouse
- Contribute high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on production-readiness and efficiency
- Participate in comprehensive peer-reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing to ensure the reliability of models
- Able to communicate effectively to stakeholders
