Who you are
- We’re looking for those who naturally do their best work when collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing
- We hire the best technical talent, but experience in our stack can’t hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Using Figma and Maze for our primary design tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or Fine Art is preferred but not required
- 5+ years’ experience providing B2B user interfaces and experience designs for a SaaS company
- IT Operations, Systems Administration, Software Support or Software Development experience will make you a standout candidate
- Previous experience working in an Agile software development life cycle
- Experience using principles of visual design and information architecture to create easy to use and intuitive user interfaces
- Expertise in interaction design with examples of complex software applications you have designed
- Expertise in Sketch, Figma, or related design tool
- Experience analyzing and synthesizing data and research into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and design solutions
- Experience in creating, contributing to, and maintaining design systems
- Experience working alongside product management and engineering teams in delivering features to market
- A strong portfolio of work that shows you were directly responsible for the success of high impact projects and initiatives that have benefited software users
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who cares deeply about our customers and distilling complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic software experiences
- Our design squad is a multi-disciplinary team comprising product design, product owners, and software engineering. We work cross-functionally with just about every team to deliver a unified customer experience that inspires and brings value to our diverse customer base
- Design new software product features and enhancements that align with the business’ top priorities
- Work closely with product management, engineering, and leadership to create and deliver the highest quality user experiences
- Plan and perform design research with customers, synthesizing and broadcasting findings across the organization
- Play an active role in advocating for the UX of our diverse customer base with data and in-depth research to help meet their unique needs
- Contribute to, document, and maintain our growing Design System
- Provide Technical Software Subject Matter Expertise
- Other duties as needed

The platform helps enhance security measures and ensure optimal performance across various endpoints through a variety of products from vulnerability patch management to cloud backups for multi-tenants. It is also able to protect users logging into IT systems remotely, making it a valuable option to the large roster of companies embracing remote work.
Since founding in 2013, NinjaOne has grown both its team and customer base substantially, and now serves the like of NVIDIA, Nissan and HelloFresh. A grand influx of funding will allow the company to hyper-focus on its customer support, especially in remote form, and continue to develop its products and automations.
