Product minded - we're looking for individuals who get excited about building a product that solves problems for users, not necessarily just about the technical side of things
You understand tradeoffs and how to balance building something right and getting it in the hands of customers
You're comfortable speaking to and helping resolve issues customers are facing - we're a small team so this is a shared responsibility

Desirable

You've had experience with our tech stack (desired not essential) (React/Typscript frontend, Elixir/Phoenix backend, AWS infra)
Cyber security background - whether thats securing applications, working in a more IT role previously or red team activities
You've built or worked technically challenging systems at scale before. We aren't putting a man on mars, but there are some interesting challenges we face

What the job involves

Collaborate closely with the founding team to develop and refine the product vision
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs
Take ownership of features end to end, from concept through deployment and support
Build out scalable patterns and architecture that allow us to not only move fast now, but in the future
Engage with customers and users to gather feedback and insights, using this information to guide product improvements
Mentor future team members as our company grows, helping to build a culture of excellence in engineering
