• 4-year degree in accounting (BS/MS/MBA) | CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• 3-5 years experience in a managerial role
• 2-3 years experience onboarding new clients
• Cloud-based accounting experience

Desirable

• This position works within our Onboarding Department and is an integrated part of managing our clients’ success. You will be managing a team of like-minded individuals and the following day-to-day responsibilities:
• Apply strong accounting knowledge and technical abilities to review financial statements, accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero), and bank transactions to assess bookkeeping needs
• Calculate service costs based on transaction volume, account complexity, and scope of work
• Identify discrepancies, incomplete records, or areas requiring cleanup services
• Generate formal quotes and proposals for potential clients within a two (2) day timeframe
• Establish, Build, and Manage client relationships
• Manage a team of 2-5 Accountants to ensure timely, accurate onboarding of all new clients
• Build processes and create operational efficiencies within client portfolios
• Build a chart of accounts based on business functions and reporting needs
• Ensure Accuracy, Quality Control, and profitability of Onboarding Department
• Management and oversight of client financial statements on an accrual-basis accounting
• Facilitate an effective transition of clients from the Onboarding Department to the Client Services Department
• Reconcile year-end tax and payroll to books
• Review workflow and business operations and make cloud technology and app recommendations to increase efficiencies
• Apply knowledge of inventory costing, valuation, and internal controls
• Assist Sales Team members as needed with quoting client engagements
• Proactive in raising questions and issues to bring to leadership's attention

• Point of contact for escalation for client-related issues
