Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security and Risk Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major or commensurate experience
- 4-5 years of experience in Security
- Familiarity with tools such as rapid7, Netskope, and others
- Understanding of patch automation, security orchestration, and management tooling in various infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of Cloud Applications like AWS, Azure, and other SAAS Applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and knowledgeable about news and current events
What the job involves
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security events to ensure we maintain a strong security posture
- Provide Incident Response support when actionable security incidents are identified
- Evaluate and leverage security-focused products (such as application security scanners, endpoint security, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, etc.)
- Support and monitor access control management solutions and processes
- Work with the business on customer security assessments and questionnaires
- Conduct security architecture reviews to assess technical and business risk; recommend ways to improve and update the security posture
- Work closely with the IT teams to review configurations, hardening and controls in environment
- Maintain strong knowledge of recent security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, attack methods, and remediation techniques
- Develop security standards and best practices for the whole organization
- Other duties as assigned

However, the company's vision reaches beyond just providing kiosks, with the recent introduction of Olliv, a self-custodial wallet aimed at simplifying crypto and allowing easy onboarding into the crypto economy.
The importance of this step for CoinFlip's mission cannot be understated - by giving new users the tools needed to engage with crypto it also increases adoption and therefore the need for real world withdrawals of cryptocurrency through its ATM network. Going forward CoinFlip's two-pronged approach here may well see it leap over the competition and forge a commanding lead in its market.
