Role
Who you are
- 3-7+ years experience in sales and business development, ideally in a lead gen capacity that has been focused on employer sales
- Proven track record of developing new relationships in a business setting
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts quickly and clearly
- Healthcare and/or employee benefits experience a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an exceptional, high-performing individual who also loves to build and constantly looks for ways to add value and level up the business
- In this role, you will play a critical role in helping build and drive Color’s growth by initiating relationships and generating demand among our target customers, helping them realize the materially positive impact Color can have on their population’s health outcomes
- Leverage our advanced sales tools to deploy outbound lead campaigns including cold calling, email, and social media to engage and qualify employer prospects
- Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies and establish relationships with stakeholders to build solid partnerships
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build prospect lists, craft outbound messaging, and share results with the larger sales team
- Help break into new and existing markets by working with the Sales Directors
- Develop a strong demo pipeline for Business Development via phone and email communications
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the Color Health platform, programs, industry trends, and competition

Cancer care today is often fragmented, slow, and hard to access, so people are facing long waits for things like screenings, delays between diagnosis and treatment and confusing handoffs between providers. Because of this, cancers are often caught later than they should be, some care gaps go unaddressed, and patients are left to navigate an overwhelming system on their own. And for employers and health plans, this also drives higher costs and poorer outcomes across their populations.
Color has stepped in to act as a single partner across the entire cancer journey, from screening to treatment to survivorship. Led by oncologists, Co,or focuses on three simple ideas: making care easier to access, moving faster, and providing direct clinical support. Through at-home, guideline-based screening and proactive outreach, Color helps identify high-risk individuals and catch cancer earlier. Its clinical team works directly with patients to reduce barriers, close care gaps, and coordinate timely diagnosis and treatment, so people aren't left to figure things out on their own.
This approach is showing strong results too. Color drives high enrollment, significantly improves screening adherence, and cuts the time it takes for patients to get diagnosed and treated. By closing care gaps and supporting people through treatment and beyond, it improves outcomes while also lowering overall costs. With this success, the company is in a good position to keep redefining cancer care by scaling model that's faster, more accessible, and centered on real human needs.
