Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about Grow Therapy’s mission to expand access to mental healthcare, bringing that enthusiasm into every candidate interaction to help us attract and hire the most talented team in our space
- You have 8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 5 years focused on corporate roles in high-growth, scaling organizations
- You are a highly skilled sourcer who enjoys building outbound pipelines to attract top technical talent, including passive candidates
- You have a strong understanding of recruiting best practices, including evaluating competencies and collaborating with leaders
- You have experience with recruiting tools like Greenhouse, Ashby, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environments, balancing multiple requisitions while maintaining quality and efficiency
- You are passionate about mental health and accessible therapy, and you can effectively communicate Grow Therapy’s mission to candidates
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing hiring teams

What the job involves
- We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Business Recruiter (Contract) at Grow Therapy
- You will own a high volume of requisitions and will partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand team priorities, role requirements, and long-term business goals
- In this role, you will primarily support hiring across Operations and Marketing. This is a short term contract role (3-4 months)
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from role kick-off to close, including managing pipelines in Greenhouse, strategic sourcing, and maintaining a strong flow of recruiter screens
- Own roles across all levels, with a focus on from entry-level to mid-level, but with room to flex for more senior roles
- Partner strategically with hiring managers and department leaders to gain a deep understanding of requirements, advise on interview panels, and inform hiring decisions
- Demonstrate success in fast-paced, scaling environments where proactive outreach, process efficiency, and metric-based performance are key
- Build and execute advanced sourcing strategies on platforms like LinkedIn, Ashby, Juicebox and other sourcing channels to engage top-tier passive talent
- Use data and funnel analytics to drive decisions that improve recruiting efficiency, optimize pipelines, and influence hiring managers
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely and clear communication while effectively selling Grow Therapy’s mission and technical vision

Our take
Mental health issues affect about 20% of Americans, so there’s an immense need for qualified mental healthcare in the US. However the vast majority of therapists don’t accept insurance due to the prohibitive administrative workload involved. This leaves therapy out of reach for many Americans. So it’s no surprise that the Grow Therapy platform has seen skyrocketing popularity since it was founded in 2020.
Grow Therapy helps therapists open their own in-network practices, providing the technology, support, and resources to tackle the extra operational workload that would allow them to take insurance. It’s live across a number of states, and works in partnership with all the major insurance payers including Humana, Aetna and Cigna.
The company is competing with larger rivals like Alma and Quartet Health, but this should be a big enough market for several major participants. Grow has secured good funding that supported the launch of its enhanced measurement-informed care system, which will help improve the care experience for clients and providers and make value-based behavioral care accessible for more patients.
