Who you are
- You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable course of study
- You already have some experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies like e.g. Terraform, AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, etc,
- You have initial knowledge of and a keen interest in technologies from our tech stack: AWS, Docker, NodeJs, Python, JAVA/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Datadog, GitHub Actions
- You have a structured, independent and responsible working style
- You love to dig into problems and find elegant solutions
- You enjoy working in a team and learning new things
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Availability from 16-20h / week, training in the office in Munich or Berlin, then also home office possible
What the job involves
- You will be part of one of our core tribe teams and help with the development of cloud infrastructure, software development lifecycle and monitoring platforms that are used by our engineering teams
- You support the teams in programming, scripting and improving our infrastructure as code, CICD, Monitoring, internal tools and automations and cloud setups
- You perform technical analyses and software quality, monitoring, alerting documentation
- You will work in agile software development environment and can actively contribute to it
- You will have the opportunity to work with software specialists and the latest cloud technologies
- You will have a permanent mentor for induction and quick feedback

Interest around investing in digital assets is increasing steadily due to innovations in fintech smartphone applications and the popularity of blockchain finance such as cryptocurrency. While stocks and cryptocurrency have a lot to do with this increase in popularity, it has also led to new investors learning about ETFs and index funds, meaning more people are looking for easier ways to invest.
Scalable Capital provides a free smartphone application for the investing and trading of stocks, cryptocurrencies, commission-free ETFs, and index funds, with subscription fees providing commission-free stock trading. The application also features a machine learning-driven robotrading service called Smart Predict to aid in improving users' limit and stop orders.
Whilst several other European investment platforms focus on commission-free trading, Scalable Capital has taken a fresh perspective by focusing on providing commission-free ETF investment. By doing this, the company encourages smart long-term ETF investments over riskier day-trading, tapping into a more mature market than applications focused on stocks. With substantial growth reported in 2025, Scalable Capital is carving out its market share.
