Our take
Founded in 2020, byways helps to connect warehouses, clients and logistics companies, allowing them to order transport at specific times and dates. The idea behind the company’s product is taken from many similar solutions that handle deliveries, and is designed to improve supply chain visibility, decrease transport costs and provide a planning system that operates automatically.
Time-saving software is vital for the logistics industry to make sure delivery needs are met, while ensuring dispatchers don’t need to work overly long hours or night shifts. This means the demand for tools such as byway's will only rise in the future, giving the company a great opportunity for growth.
An interesting note about byways’ software is its tool that automatically translates delivery instructions across multiple languages, ensuring dispatchers are well equipped to carry out the task. This additional utility could help it stand out as the space develops. It has already secured some impressive clients including ASOS and Sennder.
