Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Natural Science, Engineering, Data or a related field
- Less than 3 years of experience in a relevant role
- Confident knowledge of methodologies, development, and testing process software
- Experience in testing API integrations (Postman, SOAP UI, REST API, Swagger)
- Understanding of data representation technologies: JSON, XML
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (advantage, GCP preferred)
- Experience in operations process design, execution, and best practices
- Good knowledge of test design, testing theory
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
What the job involves
- We are looking for QA Engineers across different teams and take an active role in shaping our QA strategy and processes
- You will also be responsible for the improvement of delivered features to production, reducing the number of user complaints and ensuring that the product delivered has top-notch quality
- One of the main goals of the team is preventing bugs that have the potential to impact production environment and affect sales / crucial functionality times
- Integration testing, e2e testing, functional testing, regression testing
- Microservices and API cases (Postman, SOAP, REST)
- Create test case scenarios for testing
- Develop manual test case scenarios and execute them
- Autonomously investigate and propose new methods to improve the Quality Assurance processes
- Report and record all discovered errors/bugs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in order to deliver the tasks on time and with the expected quality

Our take
The problem that Distribusion is aiming to solve is that the reservation systems of the various bus travel providers are disparate, meaning that, in order for travel agencies to sell intercity bus tickets, they have to connect to and maintain multiple reservation systems.
To solve this, Distribusion has built what it calls a GDS (global distribution system) for intercity and airport shuttle bus products. This includes offering an API, white label solution, and widget to enable travel companies, and their customers, to interface with a plethora of intercity bus products from a single source. The result is an extra revenue stream for airline and travel industry partners and a seamless booking experience for customers.
Since pre-2020, the company has achieved an impressive 10x growth in passenger numbers and it plans to connect 100M passengers per year at the end of 2024. New Series C funding will help the company invest in the expansion of more carriers and geographies, whilst developing technology to advance its retailing capability.
