Role
Who you are
- 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience (retail, education, partnerships, or similar channels) ideally at a high-growth brand or startup
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams, partners, and stakeholder needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you're a clear, compelling writer and collaborator
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, marketing calendars, and campaign planning
- Proficiency with marketing tools, analytics, and data visualization (Google Sheets, BI tools, etc.)
- Experience managing partnerships, vendor relationships, or channel programs is a major plus
- Deep understanding of—or passion for learning about—the education or retail sectors (bonus)
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive mindset in a growing organization
What the job involves
- We're looking for a strategic B2B Marketing & Partnerships Manager to own and execute Yoto's North America B2B marketing strategy
- You’ll own marketing planning and execution, driving measurable growth and brand leadership across B2B channels, including retail, education, and strategic partnerships, while tightly aligning to the NA consumer and global brand calendar
- Build and manage a centralized B2B partner marketing toolkit to support signage, copy, imagery, and assets
- Develop tailored messaging strategies and customer journeys for each partner segment
- Track toolkit usage, educate partners, and refine resources based on feedback
- Oversee point-of-sale marketing, including displays, printed materials, and gift-with-purchase execution
- Identify and activate new strategic partnership opportunities aligned with brand and volume goals
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new partner types and manage partnership rollouts
- Maintain a synchronized B2B campaign calendar and manage paid marketing across trade publications
- Implement segmented onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back programs to drive partner growth
- Build scalable partner training programs and deliver accurate monthly/quarterly KPI reporting
- Create standardized B2B marketing processes, manage key events and trade shows, and support vendor/administrative operations
Our take
A key development in the last 5 years has been a move towards screen-based kids entertainment like apps and streaming services. However, more recently there have been concerns that excessive screen time for children can be damaging to health and development. So, many consumers are looking for alternative products which will expose children to modernity without the drawbacks of many modern devices. This is the demand which Yoto is setting out to capitalise on.
Yoto's product - a screen-free audio platform - enables children to access features such as audiobooks, podcasts, and soundscapes via physical cards inserted into the device. The Yoto Player has received considerable early praise from consumers and from investors also, who granted Yoto considerable funding.
Perhaps the most difficult challenge for a business operating in the highly competitive children's toys market is keeping its product current. However, Yoto's software is fully customisable, meaning that alongside its library of content, parents can add their own audio files to the device to suit the interests of their children. This imbibes Yoto with a customisability that gives it an edge, especially as children's tastes change with age.
