Fluent English
5+ years of experience
Proven experience working on complex projects involving both frontend and backend teams
Advanced TypeScript proficiency
Hands-on experience with reactive UI development in Vue (or React, Svelte, etc.), with a willingness to learn and use Vue
Strong knowledge of state management (Vuex, Pinia, Redux, MobX, etc.)
Experience working with design systems to create consistent and scalable UI components
Expertise in CSS layout techniques to build responsive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces
Familiarity with CI/CD practices, TDD or BDD and end-to-end testing

What the job involves

GraphAware Hume is a mission-critical graph analytics platform that turns complex data into actionable intelligence
You'll develop solutions using cutting-edge technologies that impact public safety and security in law enforcement
Your work will directly contribute to saving lives and aiding in criminal justice by creating intuitive visual graph interfaces for high-stakes environments. At GraphAware, your code helps build a safer world, giving our engineers a sense of purpose by supporting crucial security missions
You will be developing new features for Hume, making sure it is stable and reliable and finding solutions if it isn’t
You’ll be directly involved in decisions shaping the UX/UI experience of the product. All that within a great team of other developers and professionals

Our take

With the ever-growing availability of data, it is vital that analysts have the tools to alert them to the right information at the right time. While traditional systems generate alerts for tagged entries (such as phone numbers or address changes), graph-based alerting extends this functionality to allow complex and flexible alert logic to be created.

GraphAware’s graph analytics solution, Hume, is used by analysts, data scientists, and data-savvy business users across a wide range of applications. These include community safety, new medicine discovery, and policymaking advisement. Importantly, its platform enables users to convert multiple distributed data sources into a single, connected source.

Partnered with industry-leading companies such as Shell, Redhorse, LinkedIn and Bank of America, GraphAware is well set to see further adoption in the future. It continues to innovate its product offerings and develop new features and capabilities. For example, an integration with graph database management system Neo4j brought CDC (Change Data Capture) to the platform, enabling the receipt of events for every change within a graph.
