Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Growth Marketer or similar role, with a track record of driving significant business growth through marketing campaigns
- You’re an expert in Facebook and Google’s ad platforms, and have ample experience scaling those channels at a fast-paced consumer brand
- You’re a 360 degree growth marketer who thinks holistically about customer journeys. For example, you know how to maximise campaign effectiveness through smart CRO, Onboarding, and CRM strategies
- You’re happy doing both day-to-day execution & strategic thinking. You'll be one of the first growth members on our marketing team, which means you’re willing to get “stuck in” and get your hands dirty, whilst also building the future direction of the team
- You're confident using data to drive key marketing decisions, whether it's to understand users or explore if your campaigns and efforts are delivering value
- You have a deep understanding of A/B testing and growth experimentation frameworks that you can apply across multiple channels and candidate touchpoints
- You're naturally curious and a smart-thinker who wants to really understand a product and customers, rather than wanting to simply execute a playbook
- Understanding of how paid traffic and organic traffic work together to drive the business forward and understanding of performance marketing attribution
What the job involves
- Build test strategies and experimentation roadmaps, including developing messaging and creative tests to reach and convert the right audiences, as well as tactical optimisations to make our channels work harder for us
- Work with the website team to drive organic website traffic growth through SEO, identifying the most fruitful keywords to target and briefing the editorial and food team to reach new and high-intent audiences. Experience with tools such as Ahrefs is beneficial
- Oversee the strategy and execution of paid marketing across our existing acquisition channels (Meta, Google) and launching new paid channels (TikTok and YouTube) to access new audiences at a sustainable CPA, helping establish the right channel mix and budget allocation
- Expand our market up the funnel by identifying and engaging new audiences through Paid, exploring opportunities for growth into new categories (Healthy, meal-planning), demographics and territories (U.S., Aus.). Experience with localising products is a plus
- Build out a robust and scalable email communications marketing strategy, with the aim of driving people at the top of the funnel (free users) down to the bottom of the funnel (paid users)
- A/B test and experiment with different marketing tactics to continuously improve campaign performance and user experience
- Manage reporting and analysis, turning data into actionable insight that will drive channel optimisation and growth, as well as tracking and evaluating KPIs of all acquisition marketing channels against OKRs
- Work closely with our Head of Content (responsible for driving organic growth through social channels) to make sure that strategies are aligned, and that we are capitalising on any marketing opportunities and our content team to make sure the content + copy going out across various paid channels is optimised
- Work closely with our Head of Finance to ensure that our CAC remains at a scalable and commercially viable level
- Work closely with the Product team to identify and activate new product-led opportunities to drive growth
- Have a holistic view across all our growth channels, using data and experimentation to assess and pursue our most efficient routes to drive Premium subscribers
