Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in business development, growth, or commercial strategy, ideally within a digital marketplace, classifieds, or platform environment
- Demonstrated success in turning strategy into execution, driving the development and scaling of growth and monetisation initiatives
- Strong analytical and action-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate insights into impactful business decisions
- Demonstrates excellent presentation and communication skills, crafting compelling narratives, influencing stakeholders, and building alignment across teams
- Naturally curious and proactive, and customer-centric, eager to understand how different parts of the business connect and how to unlock new opportunities for growth
- Collaborative and influential; skilled at working with diverse teams across Product, Marketing, Sales and Finance
- Entrepreneurial and results-driven, comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Fluent in English
What the job involves
- As Business Development & Growth Manager for General Classifieds Subscriptions, Insertions & Features, you will own and drive one of our key commercial growth areas
- You’ll shape the business strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing, monetisation, and growth initiatives
- You’ll lead GTM planning and execution to translate these strategies into tangible outcomes for our sellers and the platform
- This is a highly cross-functional role combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- You will collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Insights to continuously improve propositions, increase adoption, and unlock new growth opportunities
- Take full ownership of the General Classifieds Subscriptions, Insertions & Features business area, ensuring sustainable revenue and user growth across both consumer and SMB sellers
- Partner with Finance, Product & Technology and other key stakeholders to shape effective pricing and monetisation strategies that align with business goals and customer value
- Define and evolve propositions and business models that meet the needs of both consumer and professional sellers, improving overall platform performance
- Translate strategy into structured go-to-market plans, ensuring cross-functional alignment on execution, positioning, and performance tracking
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to drive seller activation, retention, and upsell initiatives across segments
- Work with the Customer Insights & Performance and Business Analytics teams to monitor results, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions
- Act as the commercial voice in cross-functional discussions to ensure business goals and seller needs are represented

Adevinta Spain is part of the global Adevinta family, which is publicly listed in its native Norway. The company as a whole is one of the world’s largest classified marketplace companies, boasting a portfolio of around 50 brands in over a dozen countries, and employing close to 10,000 people.
The Spanish arm owns a number of the country's top digital classifieds marketplaces including Fotocasa, InfoJobs, and Milanuncios. This will further bolster Adevinta's position as a market leader under strong new ownerhsip.
