Who you are
- We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee and execute our social media strategy across multiple platforms
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, trend-aware, and passionate about digital storytelling
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience managing social media accounts (brand experience preferred; agency experience also considered)
- Content creation experience demonstrated with examples of content that you produced for your own accounts or other branded channels
- Proven success creating and executing strategic content calendars
- Strong background in community management, audience engagement, and crisis management
- Demonstrated ability to grow followers and increase engagement rates
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Highly creative and trend-aware, especially with social video formats
- Experience with data analysis, performance tracking, and reporting
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align social efforts to broader business goals
- Experience developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice
- Strong time management, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable team player with close attention to detail
What the job involves
- This role is responsible for content creation, community engagement, social campaigns, analytics reporting, and brand growth
- You will be an instrumental part of our marketing communications team, reporting to the Director of Corporate Communication
- Lead and manage AppLovin’s primary social channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
- Plan, create, and publish organic content; monitor performance and measure engagement
- Respond to community interactions as appropriate
- Present AppLovin’s brands and products through both planned and real-time content
- Develop creative video concepts and produce content, including filming and editing
- Stay current with social and video trends and translate them into content that aligns with business goals
- Brainstorm and support social campaigns and growth opportunities
- Research trends and collaborate on campaign strategy, launch, monitoring, and reporting
- Capture and produce content for in-office initiatives and employee experiences
- Track and analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Perform other duties as assigned
