Role
Who you are
- 1+ years of account management, sales planner, or campaign manager experience with a proven track record, preferably within a structured sales environment, and desire to become a dedicated Account Manager
- Understanding of the advertising, affiliate, paid search, online publishing or media industry
- Understanding of CPC and CPA cost models and KPIs associated with Publisher and advertiser ecosystems (revenue per redirect, revenuer per session, conversion, cost of sale, etc.)
- Skills in relationship building and account management
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and technical aptitude with great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, driven, flexible, and adaptable with a proven track record of exceeding goals
- Salesforce/Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint
- BA/BS degree
What the job involves
- Following the expansion of our publisher network, we are seeking a collaborative, driven, and creative Associate, Merchant Account Manager to assist the AM team, while learning and developing a portfolio of your own Merchant Advertiser clients, ensuring full utilization of the Skimlinks’ and Connexity services and platform
- Support Managed Publisher requests and help Growth Marchants with network migrations, rate setups, inclusion requests, and sponsorship flat fees
- Reviewing existing merchant relationships and contributing to optimization strategies
- Setting up, monitoring & logging merchant progress via internal systems and with Excel reports to track performance
- Working with the Operations team to analyze data and ensure our programs are fully optimized
- Enforcing strong network quality standards across Skimlinks Publishers regarding how they promote Merchants
- Attending conferences and industry events to represent Skimlinks to prospective clients

It covers various activities including affiliate links, influencer marketing, in-stream advertising, and shopping search ads. This has led to over 800 million shopping leads, and billions in sales for its customers (particularly impressive as the e-commerce world continues to struggle to keep online consumers' attention). Its customers include Walmart, Wayfair, Skechers, Macy’s, eBay and Otto.
In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
