Role
Who you are
- This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Bachelor’s Degree, or a combination of experience and industry-leading certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certifications)
- Experience tracking issues in a ticketing system and meeting SLA requirements, working within an ITIL framework
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT support or end-user desktop support
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
- Demonstrated proficiency with both Windows and Mac OS
- Experience using MDM tools (such as Intune, JAMF, or BigFix)
- Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., Azure, O365 GCC-High)
- Ability to develop recommendations and procedures to prevent recurring problems
- Experience ensuring ongoing usability of client computers, peripheral equipment, audio/visual systems, and software within established IT standards and guidelines (e.g., desktops, laptops, Macs, printers, copiers, etc.)
- Track record of delivering consistent, reliable service and ensuring user needs are met for each request/incident
- Experience with Cisco AV equipment
- Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing is a strong plus
- Experience supporting engineers with SolidWorks and Autodesk products is highly desirable
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance. Already cleared a big plus! Must be US citizen

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our growing team. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing Tier 1 & 2 technical support to employees, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and hardware
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT issues, managing requests via phone, email, remote tooling (Teams/BigFix), and in-person interactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, networks, and hardware
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
- Ensure ongoing usability of client computers, peripheral equipment, audio/visual systems, and software within established IT standards and guidelines (e.g., desktops, laptops, Macs, printers, copiers)
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and hardware
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical support requests and resolutions in Jira and Confluence, following ITIL standards
- Monitor and maintain system performance and security
- Assist with deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software, including MacOS, Windows, True Anomaly engineering software, and O365 tooling
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 IT/technical support
- Respond to critical tickets and incidents outside of regular working hours as part of the on-call mission support rotation
Our take
True Anomaly is a space tech startup composed of former military operators and engineers. The Colorado-based company is focused on building spacecraft and software solutions designed to secure U.S. commercial and military interests in space. It has already developed a fully-integrated platform with seamless satellite, navigation, and data-capture technologies that provide security and training for the quickly evolving space market.
Founded in 2022, True Anomaly has already designed its first spacecraft, the Jackal Autonomous Orbital Vehicle, which can be used to train operators on the ground or as intelligence-gathering tools against adversarial spacecraft. Alongside this, the startup has built a 35,000-square-foot facility in Denver to manufacture the Jackals and hired a team of close to 60 people.
With impressive capital gained at the end of 2023, the company validated the Jackal's technical and operational capabilities and made the necessary investments to scale production. Despite this healthy injection of funding, it still had to streamline staff in spring 2024, but is looking leaner and more agile for it, planning to partner with Firefly Aerospace to launch The Jackal in 2025.
