Role
Who you are
- Be a 10x engineer looking to do great work
- Experience building and designing high scale and high availability systems, including a deep understanding of infrastructure, databases, and common backend patterns
- Excellent technical, architectural (system design), diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Have a great taste in software and API design, with great instincts for what great looks like
- Be a clear communicator that is great to work with
- Have strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Be obsessed with shipping and high engineering velocity, while maintaining high stability
- Having previously worked as a staff engineer, tech lead, or a similar role
- Experience with the technologies we use in the backend and infrastructure such as: Rust, Postgres, Redis, and Terraform

- Rust experience (if lacking, an ability to quickly ramp up is required)
- Frontend experience

- We are looking for a 10x staff engineer with a focus on the backend to help us continue scaling the team and the product
- You will get to solve interesting problems and technical challenges
- Be a strong individual contributor, deploying high quality production code in a fast-paced environment
- Build new features while providing a great developer experience for our customers
- Help the team scale the product while ensuring stability and high availability
- Help the team with technical challenges and successful completion of tasks
- Help organize the team, planning sprints, delegating tasks, and organizing goals, while maintaining a high team velocity as the team increases in size
