What the job involves
- This role will contribute to positioning our products, crafting compelling messaging, and executing marketing campaigns that resonate with waste industry professionals
- 🧰 Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that differentiates our platform in the waste management market
- ✍️ Create compelling value propositions for different customer segments (waste haulers, recycling facilities, municipal clients)
- ⏩ Build and maintain detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps specific to waste industry decision-makers
- 📈 Lead product launch strategies and execution for new features and platform updates
- 🥇 Design customer acquisition strategies across digital and industry-specific channels
- Marketing: Execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions that drive value
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies
- Analytics: Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, etc)
- Values: Articulate the unique value proposition of our solution and tailor it to the specific needs of each customer
- Collaborate: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to gather insights and ensure a seamless customer experience

Precision in scheduling and logistics is vital for the work of waste haulers, a sector that is responsible for the transportation of waste products from commercial sites. As sustainability becomes an ever more pressing issue, the need for haulers to meet the demands of net zero and environmental friendliness has meant that waste management software is in more demand than ever.
CurbWaste is a software solution for waste haulers to manage the logistics, tracking, training and onboarding needs of their business. With research suggesting that almost 70% of waste haulers prefer digital solutions, the company has tapped into a sector that, although originally reluctant to embrace digitisation, has seen strong uptake and investment over the last few years.
That is certainly the case for CurbWaste, which received a funding round of $10 million at the end of 2023. The company will use this investment to expand its business reach, capitalising on the fact that waste management is coming under increasing scrutiny.
