Who you are
- A good understanding of the Government Sector issues and ability to ‘advise and solutionize’ with the customer through a consultative sales-based approach
- A track record of positioning and selling Enterprise software either directly or as part of an ecosystem
- Experience exhibiting constructive, resilient, and perseverant behavior in challenging situations, with the ability to perform as the first person on the ground effectively in complex and difficult environments
- Experience of building partnerships across System Integrators, Cloud platform providers and Consultancy organizations
- Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities, with determination and ambition like no other to succeed in challenging circumstances
- Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities, with strong collaboration skills, capable of delivery results in less than perfect circumstances
- Expertise of working across and solution selling within existing Government/Public Sector organisations with strong working relationships within the German Government
- Ability to be an independent decision-maker but equally is inclusive when evaluating options
- A forward thinking and strategic mindset to plan for both the short and long term, with the ability to support market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively
- Being Fluent in German is essential for this role
What the job involves
- Quantexa is looking for highly motivated professionals to join our EMEA Government team, a collaborative team who are looking to build on current relationships but also build new ones too
- As a Government Sales Director for DACH-Germany, you will be responsible for executing the sales go to market strategy, working with Solution Engineering, Alliances, Product, Marketing, Delivery and Customer Success teams, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, building and maintaining partnerships, winning new deals and meeting company targets
- Typical responsibilities include working with our Head of EMEA Public Sector and the Government Solutions team to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the German Government Sector and sub-sectors; consistently delivering against sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the business
- Your role will be predominantly a hunting and role although we have some early pipeline that needs nurturing
- Engaging with Public sector and Government organizations in Germany to understand their complex challenges, you will uncover the underlying pain and the cost of doing nothing
- Building a (partner) eco system, using your network, to engage at the different levels within targeted organizations
- Virtually lead a team of Solutions Engineers, Alliances, Marketing, Delivery, Solution Success and many other areas to bring the value to our prospects, customers and partners
- Positioning the Quantexa platform and our business solutions supported by our current references and best practices
