Who you are

Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and management
Ability to handle timeouts, retries, rate limiting, and transactional consistency
Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) for internal and external API documentation
Fluency in English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate in our global environment

Desirable

A robust background in Python, AWS, and designing resilient API architectures is essential for excelling in this senior role
Familiarity with tools such as FastAPI, DynamoDB, Pydantic, AWS Lambda

What the job involves

Step into a leadership role on our Integrations team at Taktile, where you'll architect and drive the evolution of our decisioning products
In this position, you will not only build cutting-edge software solutions but also guide teams, shape integration strategies, and influence product direction
Design and implement scalable API integrations with new service providers and products
Define and enforce design standards and best practices for robust, secure, and high-performance API solutions
Actively participate in code reviews and technical deep dives to ensure technical excellence
Develop integration strategies that align with business objectives and ensure optimal reliability and security
Ensure clear documentation of API endpoints and integration processes for both internal and external stakeholders
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions to sustain operational excellence
