Role
Who you are
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
- Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and management
- Ability to handle timeouts, retries, rate limiting, and transactional consistency
- Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) for internal and external API documentation
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate in our global environment
Desirable
- A robust background in Python, AWS, and designing resilient API architectures is essential for excelling in this senior role
- Familiarity with tools such as FastAPI, DynamoDB, Pydantic, AWS Lambda
- Exposure to front-end technologies like React and TypeScript
- Experience scaling Python-based solutions
- Experience in serverless architectures
What the job involves
- Step into a leadership role on our Integrations team at Taktile, where you'll architect and drive the evolution of our decisioning products
- In this position, you will not only build cutting-edge software solutions but also guide teams, shape integration strategies, and influence product direction
- Design and implement scalable API integrations with new service providers and products
- Define and enforce design standards and best practices for robust, secure, and high-performance API solutions
- Actively participate in code reviews and technical deep dives to ensure technical excellence
- Develop integration strategies that align with business objectives and ensure optimal reliability and security
- Ensure clear documentation of API endpoints and integration processes for both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions to sustain operational excellence
