Senior UI/UX Designer, Aechelon Technology

• 5+ years of design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles that you can demonstrate through past work in the form of a portfolio, website or any other relevant link
• Expertise in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.)
• Ability to work with export controlled technology
• United States citizenship required due to restrictions on access to certain data

• We are looking for Senior UI/UX Designers to help us in our mission to make pilots safer
• The UI/UX Designer’s role is to be a key contributor in the design process to craft user experiences that enhance our platform’s usability
• Whether its content creation tools pipelines, our web-based UI interface to our simulator, or our internal tools chain, you’ll own the end-to-end design process—from ideation to polished prototypes
• You’ll work closely with customers, product managers, and field support staff to shape the overall look, feel, and usability of our products
• Research the needs of external and internal users to deeply understand their behavior while also working with product managers to understand the business needs. Be able to translate any findings into actionable plans
• Develop process flows, wireframe mockups and prototypes that describe a user’s experience through a workflow
• Build and maintain a style guide and design guidelines across company products and platforms
• Guide engineers during development and drive testing and iteration with users to deliver finished solutions
