What the job involves
- We are looking for a motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing team
- In this role, you will play a key part in expanding Lantern’s presence within the employer market by identifying and qualifying new opportunities
- You’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to connect with employers who can benefit from Lantern’s innovative healthcare solutions
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the employer market through strategic outbound prospecting and nurturing of inbound leads
- Develop tailored outreach strategies to engage employers and demonstrate the value of Lantern’s solutions
- Proactively prospect into employer organizations via phone, email, and social media, clearly communicating Lantern’s value propositions
- Stay informed about industry trends and employer challenges to enhance prospecting strategies
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality opportunities to Sales Executives
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, Outreach, and HubSpot to ensure data integrity for employer prospects

Based in Texas, EDH offers two services - SurgeryPlus and Cancer Care Direct, which both aim to reduce the cost of these typically more expensive cases while maintaining a high standard of care.
Boasting an established footprint, EDH has more than 3 million members, including employees of Fortune 500 companies, as well as more than 3000 surgeons and 500 hospitals and ambulance services under its umbrella.
