Who you are
- We are looking for a native speaker (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Icelandic or Swedish) to work with our Enterprise Nordics team

- At least 1 year of professional experience (any industry, sales preferred)

What the job involves
- We are seeking a hardworking and driven individual with superb energy passion to drive new business acquisition in the Nordics Enterprise Division at Verkada
- This Enterprise Development Representative role is a 18 month program that is designed to fast-track entry-level sales professionals into world class Mid-Market Account Executives at Verkada
- Hit expectations of cold-calls, emails, LinkedIn Sales Navigator Messages and qualified meetings generated
- Work closely with your assigned Nordics Enterprise Account Executive by providing accurate lead distribution, and thorough discovery; generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities by positioning the value of Verkada
- Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads
- Understand and uncover prospects needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
- Use Verkada tech stack and sales enablement tools according to Verkada standards; provide metrics on leads
- Establish connections with potential customers within the technical realm and collaborate with colleagues across different functions
- Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, adapt to changes while creating high quality opportunities and revenue growth
- Understand sales cycles and required qualification criteria
- Have the knack for grasping complex business environments, figuring out what bugs customers, sorting out process hiccups, and turning needs into new business opportunities

Our take
Before Verkada stepped onto the scene, the evolution of video security was happening primarily in the consumer space. Home-security technology like video doorbells was becoming mainstream, but, ironically, enterprise security was lagging behind. Many large-scale companies were using outdated tech, creating problems for their security operations.
Verkada recognised that commercial security was outdated and backward, and began a mission to get commercial security up to date. The company provides clients with computer-vision cameras, using machine learning to identify security issues. Enterprise security is by no means a new market, but Verkada's success has come from its ability to recognise what large companies need and to provide up-to-date solutions. Its products have seen considerable uptake and major funding saw Verkada secure a multi-billion post-money valuation.
The company has recently introduced new ways to foster connections across teams. This has been done through their new 333 Program. The program aims to help connect teams as well as support local businesses. The company has also recently closed a further Series D funding round to help them continue driving towards their goal "to be the essential physical security software layer for every building".
