Who you are

Hands-on experience with Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel)
Strong understanding of IAM, least privilege, and identity protection in cloud environments
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA)
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM)
Experience with SIEM/SOAR integration and cloud monitoring
We don't expect people to join us with a specific tech knowledge, but we do expect you to work with our tools
We use a mix of React, Typescript, C++, and Python. Our APIs are written in C# with ASP.NET Core, uses Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Active Directory for authentication

What the job involves

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Engineer to join our growing security team
This position will have a primary focus on securing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring robust controls across Azure environments
You will play a key role in implementing security baselines, monitoring for threats, and enabling compliance in a regulated healthcare setting
Harden and secure Azure resources (VMs, storage, databases)
Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel for threat detection
Develop and enforce policy-as-code for cloud deployments (Terraform, ARM templates)
Conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling for cloud services
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into infrastructure-as-code
Support incident response for cloud-related events and produce audit-ready evidence
