Who you are

Minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework in an Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline & a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electromechanical systems
Some experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python for test automation, data acquisition, and data analysis is a plus

What the job involves

We are looking for a talented Systems Engineering Intern to be an integral part of the Robotics R&D team
Are you interested in developing innovative, robotic-assisted technology to transform the way ischemic stroke is treated
This position works individually and with the team to assist in the development of a novel neurovascular robotic system
Define various proofs of concept to aid architecture evaluation in collaboration with more senior team members
Apply technical knowledge to evaluate system designs, identify optimal system solutions, and ensure delivered features meet system and clinical requirements
Support system verification activities by developing test tools & fixtures and designing & executing test protocols
Review test data against established acceptance criteria and document appropriate test reports
Solve technical issues through troubleshooting and determining root cause
Participate in brainstorming and suggest new ideas and improvements pertaining to design and process
