Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a backend engineer on large-scale cloud-based microservice applications
- Experience building production microservices in Scala
- Solid understanding of building APIs atop RDBMS
- Experience working with more senior engineers to break down technical design documents into actionable project plans and then executing on those plans
- Dedication towards ownership of features and systems all the way to production
- Passion for working closely with FE/full stack engineers as well as UX and Product
Desirable
- Have worked on large B2B and SaaS applications with tenant-based architectures
- Strong Kubernetes and/or Istio experience
- Experience with implementing and owning CI/CD pipelines (esp in Gitlab)
- Experience with Postgres, ZIO, Clickhouse, Iceberg, Spark
What the job involves
- Help develop and maintain the backend that powers our underlying SaaS platform, primarily with Scala microservices
- Work on a cross-functional team (Product Managers, UX, and FE & BE engineers) to design, develop, test, and release rich and robust new functionality supporting the best in class SaaS platform that our application teams build atop of
- Work with Cloud Ops and Engineering Productivity to jointly own industry standard build, test, deploy pipelines, driving for best in class release processes

On the back of several new updates and launches, as well as record bookings and strong revenue growth, the company has secured significant funds that will be used to support its next wave of platform innovation. The company was also recognised by Research In Action as a Market Leader for 2024 on its Vendor Selection Matrix™ for Revenue Marketing Automation Solutions.
