What the job involves

  • Cribl is looking for a Sr. Marketing Events Manager to own the strategy and drive the event programs for our marquee industry trade shows. Events are a critical pillar of our marketing strategy, serving as a key channel for driving awareness, generating leads, and engaging with our target audiences in meaningful ways
  • We're looking for a dynamic, passionate, and analytical person to join our corporate events team
  • As a team member, you will plan, develop, and execute the appropriate events strategy for driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline goals
  • Manage Cribl’s marquee corporate trade shows from end-to-end: set the strategy, goals, and objectives, manage cross-functional teams, coordinate theme and creative with brand team, drive promotional plan, negotiate contracts, and manage all logistics
  • Partner with other members of the marketing team on all trade show deliverables and content surrounding pre- and post-event promotion; manage timelines and related projects; ensure all materials follow Cribl brand and quality standards and guidelines
  • Direct on-site booth set-ups and teardowns; hold trainings and dry runs for before events and debriefs for after events; schedule booth staffing and coordinate staff travel arrangements and company registrations
  • Deliver post-event reports with data and insights, performance against goals, event leads and effectiveness through the funnel, and recommendations for future events and overall strategy
  • Be a strong representative for Cribl at external events and in prospect- and customer-facing conversations

Our take

In a bid to simplify big data analytics, Cribl offers a data observability pipeline which allows users to reduce low value data, improve routing and gain more data context on one interface.

As companies now collect more and more data from frequently scattered sources, its useability and reliability comes into question. By offering an observability service, Cribl allows users to maintain the health of their data systems by monitoring, tracking and troubleshooting issues.

Cribl's main challenge will be competing with the likes of Observe and Edge Delta. However, Cribl has raised impressive funds that should accelerate its transition from a limited tool vendor to a fully-fledged observability suite. The company also boasts surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue, having grown this from $1 million in less than four years.
